| Bug-Eyed! An Artistic Adventure
June 7 - July 28, 2006
The MSC Visual Arts Committee and the Department of Entomology at Texas A&M University are proud to present an exhibition that artistically showcases the inquisitive to whimsical world of bugs. Participating artists, composed of Entomology faculty, staff, and students, examine our relationship with many of the world’s insect and spider species, and invite viewers to redefine beauty as exhibited by the most abundant creatures on Earth. Through the photographic representation of bugs or their actual appearance as the raw material for an art object, these artists explore the aesthetics of entomology on levels that go beyond the mere presentation of pattern, color, and texture. |
