Artfest is Texas A&M University's annual student art contest sponsored by the MSC Visual Arts Committee. Participants may enter a maximum of three selections in six different categories including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media and computer-generated still images.

Night-minds by Kathryn Knudsen

The MSC Visual Arts Committee presents Night‑minds, an exhibition featuring work from Salt Lake City-based artist Kathryn Knudsen. Incorporating a variety of techniques and materials, her work is an attempt to visually deal with trauma she experienced in her past. This collection of work also attempts to overcome the typically masculine dominance of the “cutting edge” in art, allowing for a softer and more feminine style of avant-garde art.
