Andrew Cangelose
March 4 - April 4, 2008
Glimpsing Through Lyrical Space features an array of minimalist drawings and paintings by artist and Texas A&M instructor Andrew Cangelose. The works in this exhibition explore linear movement and its relation to nature. Color takes on a more subdued role as line, form, and texture are emphasized. Cangelose states that his artwork is "a stage or platform set for the viewer to navigate through and just 'be in' with your own sense of self," allowing the work to "take you wherever you wish or choose to go."
