Workshops & Events

In addition to presenting art exhibitions, the MSC VAC also presents programs in which students, faculty, staff, and the general public can participate. These programs include lectures, opening receptions, artist residencies, workshops, art activities, and other special events. For up-to-date information on all of VAC programs, please like us on Facebook.

All Receptions will take place in the Reynolds Gallery unless otherwise stated.

April 13, 2017 — The Art of Recycling, 7 to 9 p.m.

August 26, 2017 — G52: Graffiti Art by Seve Garza, 1 to 3 p.m.

September 28, 2017 — Architecture that Speaks: the Work of S.C.P. Vosper at Texas A&M University, 7 to 9 p.m.

November 5, 2016- Nature Photography Workshop, Loyd Sneed, VAC, and TAMU Rec Sports will host a photography hike for students of Texas A&M. Pre-registration is required. Location to be announced.

February 20, 2017- ArtFest submissions open, between 9 – 5 p.m. in the Student Programs Office. Submission cost is $5 per piece.

February 22, 2017- ArtFest submissions close at 5 p.m.
