Current Exhibition

Bats: Superheroes of the Night! incorporates natural history specimens, research and facts about bat species, with photography, monoprints, collage, paintmaking, architectural drawings, 3D skeletal prints, and even papier mache to create an immersive and inclusive look at bats and their essential role in our ecosystems.

Bat populations worldwide are severely threatened by habitat loss, climate change, disease, and persecution. Bridging multiple academic disciplines involving students, faculty, and community members, this exhibit aims to raise awareness while showcasing the artistic and ecological significance of these astonishing creatures.

This exhibit is a collaboration between the Biodiversity Research & Teaching Collections and the MSC Visual Arts Committee. Together we seek to present topics that are timely and relevant to the Texas A&M Community through the integration of science and art.
